The Public Institution "Center for Psychosocial and Labor Integration" is working as a continuous Equal program in Lithuania "Integration of People with Hearing Impairment into the Labor Market" ( The main activity of the Center ( is to provide psychosocial services to the members of the exclusion group and their environment in order to facilitate the activation of social life; to organize seminars, self-help groups for families and children who are experiencing tensions due to a family member with a disability, for coercion, for a loss also specialist and pedagogical education on these topics.

The Public Institution "Center for Psychosocial and Labor Integration" co-operates with various educational organizations, pre-school and secondary education institutions. Organized educational seminars for children, young people, parents and teachers, specialists. The main topics are psychological personality development problems, sexual and psychological violence and prevention of violence also the theme of tolerance for reducing the exclusion of people with disabilities. Center staff performs artistic cultural programs by using elements of theater, art, dance and visual arts. Together with the social partners they organize exhibitions and performances, creative workshops-training.

In cooperation with national authorities, social partners, civil society organizations and other interest groups the center solves the issues of education of people, and the tasks of employment related to social changes.

The Center's staff provides social, legal and educational counseling and psychological rehabilitation services, employment services for people with disabilities, disadvantaged people, people of different age groups and groups of exclusion, strengthening and promoting equal opportunities and the process of successful integration into society. Educates members of the society to help people with disabilities, socially disadvantaged people of different ages to integrate into society. Conduct preventive programs at governmental level (kindergartens, schools, medical institutions, supermarkets, official institutions) and non-governmental organizations in order to prevent violence and discrimination. The staff of the Center are trying to help the people who are in trouble. Various trainings are organized: psychologists are invited and psychological groups are organized. By using art therapy, psychodrama is being caring out employment creative camps, exhibitions and other creative and social activities. Informing society about various situations, counseling and expanding the ability of members of the exclusion group to live a valuable life.
